Still I Rise

Terms & Conditions for Psychoeducational Courses and Social Meet-Ups

Psychoeducational Courses are designed to provide information, education, and peer support.
It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.
Course facilitators are not acting as healthcare providers and no clinical diagnosis, therapy, or individualised treatment will be given.

Attendance at both online sessions and social meet-ups is voluntary.
Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing and decision to engage with the content or discussions.
By joining, participants agree that Still I Rise and its facilitators cannot be held liable for:
- any distress, trauma, or emotional impact arising from course material or discussions;
- any incidents, accidents, or issues arising during informal social meet-ups (which are unstructured, peer-led spaces).

All participants are expected to treat others with respect and kindness.
Disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the course or social meet-ups at Still I Rise’s discretion.

While discussions are confidential within the group, Still I Rise has a duty of care: if facilitators believe someone is at risk of harm to themselves or others, appropriate safeguarding steps may be taken.
Participants should not record, screenshot, or share content from the sessions without permission.

Social meet-ups are optional, unstructured gatherings for peer connection.
They are not facilitated therapy sessions, and Still I Rise cannot accept responsibility for participants’ experiences, travel, or safety when attending.

Any personal information collected (e.g., email address, registration details) will be handled in accordance with data protection laws and EFA’s privacy policy.

By registering for or attending the course or meet-ups, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
